As seen in Kurt's vidoes, his Card Tool is an amazing tool to help fix minor dings and dents on corners and edges. Now the Cardsmith Plate, along with Kurt's Card Tool gives you a safe, smooth and solid surface to work on most of your vintage and modern cards.  

This is just one more product to have in your arsenal of tools to help acheive that desired look you have been working towards.  

There’s no fixed method for using these products, as each card is unique and reacts differently during cleaning. I can offer only general guidelines on how to get started. As your skills grow, you’ll discover various techniques for cleaning and preserving your cards. But the final outcome will always remain the same!

Annealing is a crucial metallurgical process in forging, designed to alter the physical structure, microstructure, and properties of a metal. Its primary purpose is to increase the metal's ductility, relieve internal stresses, and reduce its hardness for improved workability
